Purchase Order Form
Some businesses, typically those in the Construction Industry use purchase orders on a regular basis as part of their individual structure.
Our software follows the same standard template design for our Purchase Orders, as is used in both our Quotes and Invoicing areas of the software.
Whilst some larger businesses use these on a regular basis, it’s also safe to say that the majority of Small Businesses would find these inappropriate and not necessary in the operation of their business.
Purchase orders can be almost as good as money. Some of the larger corporations use purchase orders exclusively, they will not pay an invoice unless you can produce a Purchase Order Number.
Purchase Orders inform the person receiving the Order that the business who has issued the purchase order is requesting either goods to be supplied or a service to be carried out. In most cases a prearranged price is decided on prior to issuing of the Purchase Order.
